I don't wanna be "that beta guy" but...

Beta participants deserve a commander separate from the Gamma buyers... If you're gonna give the delta to Alpha but not Beta, it would be nice if you would give something to Beta not Gamma, and Theta can be Gamma not Release.

I realize these are just aesthetic but I like having my mark made as one of the original supporters of the game.

Or you could just give Delta to Beta too. That'd be fine. But they won't do that, so.....


And it's not just me, I've talked to other beta participants that feel kinda let down too.

Gamma was just another update, the game was still in Beta. People who bought the game at kickstarter got the Progenitor, Alpha, and the Delta commander while people in Early Access which includes the versions Beta and gamma, got the Theta. If you bought the steam version, you get the theta

Kickstarter → Alpha → Beta → Gamma → Release

Kickstarter and Alpha have the three mentioned above.
Beta should get its own (but only gets theta)
Gamma gets theta.

Gamma players are BETA Players. There is no difference and there never was. It was just a newly named update.

But, Gamma was just another phase in the Beta. You should only get the Theta Commander. You don't deserve another type special commander just because you were in the Beta. Uber has clearly defined this, deal with. Oh and people with the retail edition get their own as well. But they don't get the Theta.

Alpha and Beta are actual stages of development. Gamma was just a fancy name for a new patch.
