I know what you're talking about in the broad sense, but I get the feeling you're talking about something more specific than that.

The people who get offended by those X or riot things or any other generic Twitch spam should GTFO Twitch and get acquainted with the internet of the 2010s.

I don't even know what you're talking about. I'm going to guess something related to PA development, which I is something I largely don't care about.

PA is great and interesting and all that, but I have other **** to do.

I know the "x or riot" thing is a generic twitch thing.

It is just the point of "doing wrong under the cloak of anonymity and large numbers. If you are going to do something entirely out of generic spam, why do so intentionally so distasteful?

I cross a lot of lines using generic sayings, but this strikes as intentional debauchery.

Memes and twitch are terrible. If this is news to you, then you're probably part of the problem

Yea, for every kind of racism and treating people badly, there's a special piece of internet hell.

Whenever I watch anything on Twitch, 99% of the time I close the chat.
Exceptions are when the streamers is interacting with their audience; and their audience aren't spamming chat.

Yes, because where sexism is found we shouldn't try and tackle it, no, we should **** off. This is an attitude that will definitely get us places, and defences like "it's just silliness" or "it's just a meme" are not weak-minded justifications for sexist attitudes that have no place in the modern Internet you claim to inhabit, no sir.

I find that a big problem is that people are so terrified of being identified as sexist or racist that they'll try to call out anything as sexist or racist to desperately try and stay politically correct.
I remember seeing a comment that said Star Wars Episode VI was "racist" because the main cast only had one black actor. That's not racist! It would be racist if they turned down good actors because they weren't burly white men but they didn't. Is the movie anti-semitic because none of the main cast is Jewish (well, I don't actually know if any of them are Jewish but you get the point)? Of course not. People need to stop throwing those terms around like deranged monkeys because soon they're going to lose all meaning.

Yeah, you nailed it. People calling out tits or riot, or talking about the hotness of the woman on stream aren't creepy or sexist, it's the people calling them out on this **** who secretly are. Man you nailed it!
