Graphical glitch where everything is stuck on low

RESOLVED

I turn up the graphics all the way to uber (I've tried everything else too) and it looks just as it does when it's on low.

Don't get me wrong, I like the game a lot so far but I don't like my planets looking like lumpy potatoes.

Can you please post your Dxdiag on the forums so that I can check out your system?

Also, did you check your settings menu to make sure everything was on Uber?
