Can we please get some sort of answer as to the horrific performance since latest build? And can we please get some sort of answer as to whether the previously aforementioned assurance of offline singleplayer/locally hosted servers being out by 1.0 release? The game's unplayable past a certain minute mark and you're 4 days from release.
Getting the bug when we start the game, and the commaders appear, the game locks up, and you have to ctrl+alt+del. seen this two times today.
Also, is the superweapon tech in G.W. supposed to make superweapons insanely cheap? Halleys/Catalysts are 10 K metal, nuke launchers are only 3.6 K. EDIT: Oh, I see. It's superweapon fabrication tech.
Damn, I thought you were joking , but it just happened to me again : And yet when I sandboxed the nuke / anti-nuke, it worked fine and fired as usual
yep, had at least 11 nuke silos and 7 anti-nukes killed by 2 enemy nukes. Was not a fun bunch of apples. Well, until I either nuked the enemy silo, kill it's commander, or never clustered up my silos enough again to be worth nuking.
Just here to say I'm suffering the exact same problem fighting against first seeker osiris as well. Nuke right on top of a full anti-nuke silo, I had all kinds of radars and energy to spare.
ok so if thats the retail version, guys is the luncher still the same like that one? or do i have to download another luncher from somewhere else?
Well done on the release build guys, the game is feeling properly finished and polished these days. Except that I can't play it because I'm on Linux and PA's UI hangs every single game. You're not experiencing the simulation performance problems that have been reported all over since the last build hit? I envy you. Like a lot of other people, my games are nearly unplayable now after a certain point due to the slideshow/stuttering/slowmo that a lot of others are getting. What time(s) do you play each day and what timezone are you on?
Over thing I noticed is that my default server location was reset to Australia for some reason (I'm Canadian). I've since switched it back to the NA servers. If this happened to others, I wonder if it could be related to some of the problems people have been having.
We have an update for the launcher coming this week. And I just fixed why you're seeing the build update note.
Minor polish note, in Galactic war, sometimes the system names and lore will double up in a single game, so that there are two systems with the same name at the same time. Not really that much of a deal, low priority polish point if even that.
