Saturday has come and gone, it is Sunday, the 1.0 patch dropped and HotBuild2 is broken.... my liffeeeeeee it is ruined!!!!! Please helpppppppp. But seriously, I love hotbuild, thanks for all the work you have done.
Yeah working on a fix they changed some stuff that requires some big changes to my settings code But making progress.
Small question, do you know about the alternate settings manager ? (https://forums.uberent.com/threads/wip-more-settings-manager.61034/) Not sure it works with current live build because of Uber's recent changes, nor if it fits all your requirements. But now that release is in the air, hopefully Uber won't make big changes anytime soon on settings, and having mods' settings a bit organized wouldn't hurt (because let's be honest, all of them in UI tab was messy). What's your take on this ?
Yeah I've seen this. I think it will be badly broken in this build actually. This will have to do Heads up all your old keyboard exports are worthless again Not going to write a translator for old export to new import...
Fair enough. I kind of figured it wouldn't be easy / work out of the box after last update. Maybe I can bump Gonzo's topic so he can have a look. We only need one mod using it when it works, to lead the way
The problem with all those frameworks attempt is if they aren't "community" maintained, they are doomed. A framework can't be supported by only one person.

I just uploaded 1.27 to PAMM. - Settings should work again - Import Export (should work for current version) (old imports forget it) (well only uberkeys are broken hotbuild settings should still be transferable with some editing) - Probably bugs ....

I'm very lazy that's why I wrote this version will include bugs 1.28 has this fix included. When I'm being less lazy I might take a look at bringing pole lock toggle back...
I dont know if this is the place to say this but there are some problems with the current hotbuild 2.0 patch that are pretty annoying. Just some bugs or problems not sure. 1. Before if I remember the community default hotkeys used to have 0 conflicting hotkeys or hotbuild hotkeys had priority. many keys have a building and another function like stop/repair/etc its not that big of an issue but it takes a good while to reconfigure all your hotkeys so when you try building something it doesn't try to reclaim/stop/fire/repair/etc. 2. When you have adv fabbers and standard fabbers and you try to build an adv building it just doesn't work you will just build the standard energy plant and if you click F again it doesn't cycle through to the adv version of the building.
A new default will need to be made bc uber have changed their keybinds - normally the community submits their exported keybind txt files to Proeleert and that becomes the new defualt I have also encountered this for a while now
Yeah uber changed the internal default config of the keybinds so I have to redo all community defaults. Feel free to drop me exports please... So I can make an update with better defaults. Yeah I'm to stupid to be able to reproduce this ...
I think it's to do with the way units are selected and then the priority for each build item on each hotkey. For example if I select a lone adv fabber it will cycle correctly through the buildings on my 'f' key (t1 pgen and t2 pgen). However if I box select a t1 fabber and a t2 fabber the f-key won't cycle through to the adv buildings. I have to manually first select the adv fabber and then the t1 fabber if I want to be able to cycle through to the adv pgen by pushing f. Edit: in my list of buildings the t1 pgen is higher than the t2 pgen
Aaah "in my list of buildings the t1 pgen is higher than the t2 pgen" that could be the culprit. Gonna test tonight. Try putting T2 in front of T1.
