There's hardly anyone playing the PTE!!! Can't you just put these builds into production. We are so close to release anyway. Are the production servers way more powerful than the PTE servers?

I noticed a planet taking a shortcut when smashing.
The approach trajectory of the planet brought it very close to it's target planet.
The planned trajectory included a lap around the sun but it just skipped that part once it got really close to the target, then it just went straight in for the smash.
I think it was triggered by reaching the distance that usually has them start the next phase of the approach.
Not sure if this is a new bug because the chance of this happening is low, it also made the smash happen about a minute sooner than expected which can't be good :)

First you fixes crash, then you fix bugs. Last you fix performance.

btw just watched your game there. I bet if you click a dox hit ctrl-z and then delete and confirm it will fix it.

The dox are a major offender right now. Lots of tanks don't seem to cause issue.

That's because of the amount of BOTS you have on the field.

Vorell and i tested - he had about 500 Dox and 500 mixed tanks, sent them at my measly orbital rush base to finish it off. Halfway through the attack, the sim dropped to .1, but when he deleted all his dox and stopped his bot factories, it jumped right back up to ten.

Really hilarious. Swarm units cause lag late game! who would have thought? :D

Well the DOX always hurt the Sim, but this is the worse I have seen in a long time. It was slowmotion.

    • Radar bug is still an issue. (If you build a radar and don't have power it doesn't ever work, even after getting power)
    • Gas Giants
      • You can't set rally points (From another planet, or from orbital space stations on the gas giant)
      • Fighters can only do area and planet patrol if zoomed WAY out, other wise graphic doesn't show and it doesn't work.

What OS? If reporting this sort of thing, please mention OS, video card, etc. I know a lot of you post it regularly, but when running a thread like this, not having to search for your system specs helps a lot in pinning down issues.

And as always, running with no mods if you have any is always the first thing to try.

    Thanks!

I downloaded the PTE build but i takes around 5 to 10 minutes to show any games on the server and also if i try to create my own games it gets stuck on the loading screen for a long time, i think it is a connectivity issue.
