    Oath.

You didn't plan ahead, and now you can't play or cast. Sorry bro. I feel for y-

Hell no. I don't. Stop. Whining. For God's sake. I don't FRACKING care how much crap you've been through with them. I don't care if you feel let down. Grow a pair and realize that everyone makes mistakes, including them and you! Cut them some slack.

This is why PACE didn't work. Stupid crap like this that is smoke without a fire. Drama is for highschool girls. If you are coming to the internet to have drama, you run into people like myself who will point you back to the straight and narrow.

Oath, I tried to add a carrot on the end of this stick, but I couldn't find one that didn't sound hollow and insulting. Sorry. Know that I tried, and you're a good person, I'm sure. Just.....STOP. WHINING.

Has anything actually happened yet? I heard zaphod would record stuff with his phone.

Also, the matches, did they happen yet? I heard they would be streamed.

I live on the east coast so it's probably less confusing than i'm making it  I just don't feel like thinking

Do you know how much streaming internets costs at PAX?
5 figures. Or so I heard.

Wait, so I won't be able to actually play a round at PAX? Hmm, maybe I should bring my laptop after all and do some pickup games...

You should be able to. What Oath wants to do is get up on stage and cast the games live. It's a completely different thing.

What do you mean by "they brought Marshall and Zaphod from the UK"? Does this mean they paid for it? Can you confirm that?

I can. The cat is out of the bag, we would have rather it stayed in there because people seem to overreact to this sort of thing. They did so because otherwise neither would have come over otherwise.

Well it is a decision they made. But I have some trouble understanding that a livestream is too expensive but bringing two people from the UK is not. Aren't there good casters in the US which could have done a livestream? I don't know the figures so maybe it doesn't matter, but this decision just sounds strange.

Well at least we get high quality youtube videos.

ZaphodX is a hugely popular streamer, if not the most popular streamer for PA. Everyone who's there will probably have heard of him, from SupCom or otherwise. The fact Zaphod loves the game and will be there is a large incentive for players to buy the game.

Also remember, streaming is constant, it's a couple thousand dollars.

They won't be livestreaming because an internet connection at a massive gaming convention can be quite expensive (I heard that a solid connection is upwards of $10,000).

Well that's debatable. The 3 people who were invited have been active since alpha, have consistently stayed at a high standard, and have been heavily immersed in the community.

In the end, it comes down to business. Uber thinks that the best way to advertise their game at PAX is to invite these 3 people.

Eh. Uber had clearly planned this event well - especially considering that 1.0 is just around the corner. This is their chance to get a lot of publicity about the game, and they want to make sure everything runs smoothly. I wouldn't expect them to let people who show up and ask to cast/play without prior planning do so.

Just for the record, I wasn't implying I thought they'd paid for them or whatever. I'm not at all bothered by it if that is the case, but I was just saying that they'd obviously invited them to be there and cast.

Bringing two blokes over from UK and putting them up in a hotel for a night or two, with admission to PAX, will not equal the five figure sums supposedly charged for streaming from the event. Barely even four figure sums. Plus the two guys are hugely popular in the PA community,it a lot of time in, and are excellent ambassadors for the game.
