Will this straight lined horizon bug be fixed?

I don't see the problem.

I see the problem, on the contrary. It happened when I used Free-cam to try and take screenshots.

It should be a gradient, not just a flat line separating atmosphere and vacuum of space.

Everything looks nice until you try to make low camera screenshots. Then the atmosphere cuts off with a straight line and that's why that screenshots looks kinda weird.

Photoshop the blur in so it makes a smooth transition from atmosphere to space

Let's not forget, we'll see the final gold build on the 29th. They still need to apply hotfixes if need be, and then ship it off for manufacturing of the physical versions. So that might take a while. I assume they would want to launch it when they have ample stock on store and amazon warehouse shelves.

I thought we were getting the gold build before PAX, so today at the latest...must..not...neglect...children...and wait...for patch....

We'll get the 1.0 build before PAX, we'll test it giving uber time to add any hotfixes to the build before they bring it to pax. The gold version would be the actual launch edition would it not? the one they send to the manufacturers, it will likely be the 1.0 with whatever further hotfixes they have time to squeeze in before the game starts to get disc'd up.
