Launch date 29th of August

I don't know how to interpret the PAX announcement, but for me it bring up a very important question.

Are we gonna get the (gold/launch) patch on the 29th of August?

The hope is we'll have the final build before the 29th.

On the 29th of August, the build will be ready. We don't know if it will be released before the 29th, on the 29th or after.

The plan is to get out the "gold" version to the public before PAX, so we can see it before it goes out to the stage.

The way I read it: the launch build is being displayed at pax, we get it in some form just before (to ensure no show stopping bugs) however the actual release will be just after pax...

Exactly. They release the launch version on the 29th. The game won't launch for a while afterwards, if they are smart.

I'd imagine we'll get the build in PTE prior to release.

My assumption is there should be least a couple builds before launch and some hotfixes.

the plan still is to get you the launch (or very close-to) version of the game before PAX starts on August 29. don't want to get more specific, but we're still on sched to do it.

edit: actual launch is shortly after pax.

I hope there is gonna be live stream from the uber office like on day of release or when possible. Its been so long since we seen the couch and people who talk in it

Not to mention it would be an awesome time to hear about the development and the future.

the likeliness of that happening is very very small since they just moved into a new office space ^^
