    I think they are ok. Bombers should be better at killing them and dox bad at killing air. Then they have a decent counter. you need to build aa units too, less spam more fun

    They could give dox a second weapon (mode) that fires at air and not at land yet has more spread or something.

    Like the reaper (ripper) in starcraft? It has a gun for damging units AND damaging buildings.

    Yep, games often do that sort of thing for edge cases as it's land weapon might just be too effective against air that they'll need to balance it out with a separate weapon.

    I really want bots to have some sort of AA capabilities, and that more bots than just the dox should be changed, but i dont feel like dox are the right bots for the job, probably some new specialized flak-type AA bot, or change a current one. More variety amongst the bots.

    I'd say just make dox as accurate as ants in alpha, one sweet angle can hit air while most don't.

    why? do you want bots to be amphibious as well?

    because with the inherent nature of this game (looooooooots of overhead for population) you can make it your all-purpose unit and avoid yourself tons of tedious micro and macro and win teh game.
