Hello, i´m not shure if this is correct. but on the attached picture you can see the color of buildings and units. its seems that this orange is a little weak? But when the units are on the dark side of the planet, this color seems fine. is there an issue with my pc or with the game. (my GPU driver is up to date). thx
The color contrasting in this game is extremely annoying. It's often hard to make out your units. And the glow on units from using HDR is too much.
it seems to be an "AMD Radeon Rx/ HD xxxx"-only issue, the surface of the dayside of the planet is also far too bright to me, look at those screenshots: one can see, that Nvidia video Cards are calculating the colors correct on the dayside, while on the AMD Radeon Video card screenshot, it seems like "the sun is shining too bright" this thread deals with the same topic i guess: "light side of planet is too bright and Ambient Occlusion not working"
Oh that's why i didn't have any differences on my old HD4870 and my new R9 290. Shoot, i should have taken an nvidia
nvidia looks like the same in daylight is a flat color for everything, i don't like the brightness in the radeon card, but i like the differences in daylight (is not flat) PS: Is freaking metal, the metal bright like this in real life.
when i compare the colors and reflections from my Radeon R9 280 to the Nvidia card of my brother i see definitely a huge different. As i said, it seems, that the "sun shines too bright" -.-. Metal-reflections are nice, but i would like to see some color between them
