FPS Issues Please Help!

I recently got a new computer and just bought PA. Right from the start it showed now problems running on Uber. However one of the next few games later I noticed that no matter what setting it was on there would be random FPS lag with only the units and buildings, and just general surroundings. I was not sure what was to do so I waited a few minutes and nothing happened. I promptly exited and loaded the game back up. I was able to play for a good long while a and it worked good ,Then all of a sudden I got the fps issues again. I am really confused on why this is happening and I can't find help, so that's why I'm posting this. Please Help!

You sure it was FPS issue and not sim slowown due to mass dox spam? Because this has been a huge problem lately.

I guess that may be the problem. The few games I played in the AI Mass spammed dox and all the other bots? Do you think AI spamming bots may be the problem?

The problem your describing sounds like a server issue rather than fps drops. Next time it happens press cntrl p' that will show you perf info. Press again shows server info, and again for info on the 'sim'... If running properly sim should be at 10 fps, if it's anything less than 5 then that's your problem.

This is something uber knows about and is being worked on atm.

The Dxdiag will help us check if there is a configuration problem with your pc so please do post when you get chance.

So what information do i post from dxdiag again?

Click the "Save all information..." button and post the resulting text file.

And Also the sim is running at 10fps

Just drag the file onto the post box

- It is normal for the sim to run at 10 FPS.

- You have to post the actual text file, not the contents of the file.

How to:

1) Click "Upload File."

2) Select your "Dxdiag.txt" file and click "Open".

When i first load up a bigger system i get 3 frames. Sometimes in the middle of the game i will get unit and building lag but not fps

Your dxdiag is fine and this is most likely caused by sim lag inside the game's engine.

PS. Your i7 is being bottlenecked by your 750, you should get a better gpu.

Nothing obviously wrong with your dxdiag- there may be a *slightly* newer driver available but I doubt it will make much difference.

Have a look at the performance tabs I mentioned before during a game (press 'cntrl' and 'p' keys together to bring it up)....

The first page is the 'client' performance (i.e. your computer), if the frame rate is above about 20 fps it should be smooth enough so that probably isn't the issue...
