Could Advanced Ships have higher push class?

    Hello Advanced ships as well as basic ships have the same push class, two. I think with differing push classes (Based on size) it'd be more realistic and smooth. It'd also help for better naval pathing I believe.

    Since land wrecks were removed, naval wrecks should be removed.

    Naval was where wrecks were the biggest problem.

    Land wrecks weren't much of an issue.

    I think they're planning on it soon, Brad even thought it was already removed.. So it should next patch or something I'm guessing.

    Just for the record this thread was actually in reference to this:

    "physics":{"radius":12,"shape":"box","push_class":2}

    Push class determines which unit pushes the others out of the way, higher push classes push lower push classes as they walk through. This means that big hulking ships push teeny little boats. The commander is currently the unit with the highest push class.

    I find it humorous that someone mentioned leg day. I knew what it was, but how are people making a workout routine reference on the internet?

    Anyway, I am not sure the pros and cons of push class. If the bluebottle, excuse me, orca... was pushed onto land intentionally by larger ships, that would be a glitch. Better for them to make push class more flexible in the engine, and if a unit is unpathable to a certain area then they "cant be pushed" and thus the other thing will either phase through or be pushed by the other entity instead.

    As for wreckage, EVERYONE mentioning naval keeping wreckage is a jerk, seriously, everyone by now ESPECIALLY brian I'd hope should know it was unintentionally left, I.E. a bug. Next build will probably not have naval wrecks. This build wasn't supposed to have them. Really, land wrecks cause less problems, but for the short term removing wrecks have a high chance of benefit. Most all situations will have positive effects from wreck removal.

    Download NavalRedux to remove naval wrecks, and Statera to remove naval wrecks and add land wrecks back. Bam. There you go.

    wtf brad? Why are you being a jerk? (as mot put it) Or rather, why are you being overly aggressive? There is absolutely no need for it.

    I thought squishy was saying to increase the push variable to combat the issue of wrecks. When I read this, I thought it was about wrecks. Not about large boats pushing small posts.

    And it wasn't a double post. It was a second post. You are way to twitchy with that delete and lock button.

    I don't believe that boats will glitch off onto shore. The point is that boats over twice the size of another should push that one out of the way. I think this should also be used for some land based unit, the vanguard and inferno should have higher push classes, both because they should be at the front of the line and are normally larger.

    I think all units should be equal and none of them should push the others around. What sort of message are you sending to PA's players with this sort of unit behavior? Wait till Kotaku hears of this.
