All these are from GW is it makes a difference I have noticed that when pausing the game for a while (reallife calling and I had to go for 30 min-2 hours). When comming back, game will have slowed down a lot. Have also tried that the pause pop up had disappeared. Only after refreshing UI, did it come back up and I could continue the game. I have tried that those games would simply end up crashing shortly after. While paused, I still get audio warnings that I an short on metal and the like - so the game seems to still be running on some threads, even though it is paused. When building new towers and the like on a planet where I did not start. I have a problem with the range not showing up. I have noticed when I have my primary planet in the PiP window, the range circles will show up on that planet while building on another planet. However, if I drag to place multiple towers or anchors, the range will show up on the correct planet. Generally, whew, the AI have gotten better - that is fun. But in single planet systems - that buggar is almost impossible to beat for me (on normal level). Might be me playing badly, but it does seems really really tough.
