Breaking.... news?: Louisville Purge

This is a hilariously pixelated picture that's been gaining a little attention on the internet, and it implies what you'd think. Supposedly, tonight (right now, in fact) there will be a purge in Louisville KY.
People are listening into the Louisville police feed and everything expecting a real-life purge.

To those that haven't seen the purge, this basically means that a bunch of stupid people will go out committing crime. In the actual movie the purge legalized all crime, but since that's never happening in real life, this is just either not happening or is going to be a strange display indeed.

Far as I can tell this is a pro "anarchism" thing. Anarchism in the sense of edgy teenager anarchism, not real anarchism.

This happened in my town a few weeks ago.

If there is a real life purge going on there I would giggle a bit though. Because that's absolutely fucked up. But there would still be less crime there than in my city.

I lose all respect for humanity about 4 times a week, then maybe one lil thing will bring it back.
But if some people seriously watched a movie about free crime waves and murder and decided that was the best thing to copy, f*ck that.
