I am also getting huge FPS lag (drops to 30 fps or less), but strange enough, sim lag is non-existent in my rig. I turned off headlights and set shadows to high, but FPS lag is still there. What is going on?
Also had a few FPS drops in the last games, especially when nukes hit. I also had to quit once as it dropped to around 0.5 fps for no apparent reason and it didn't seem to recover. This happened when zooming into our moon base. However after the restart this never occured again. The nukes were sometimes missing the grey effect and I could only see the light. Not sure if this was the cause of the bad fps. Two nukes got stuck around this planet. Probably because the moons they were destined for got activated after/before the nukes were shot. The blue nuke was also still there after we annihilated the blue commander. Also two area commands got stuck visually for some time. SIM performance is much better compared to the last stable release. Worst was around 4-5 fps but it was a big system and we played against two AI players. Can't find the lobby ID in the new UI and for same reason it fails to load the replay.

Now that is the right way to convey your thoughts about lag. Don't try to hide by the way, I know who you are. You were the one who mentored me in the combinatorics class in UCLA last week, dear Prof Terry.
Yes i had already posted on it. I really hope Uber fixes the problems cause the game is pretty much unplayable for me right now.
Yah almost every game we've played since the last build has ended by being so laggy everyone had to quit. Pretty painful.
Lag for me is 50/50, I either get really bad lag (big system or not), or I get no lag and a nice experience.
