    I think my stance on a Diverse, TA Inspired Energy System is well known.

    This would be awesome!

    Rivers would be awesome too.

    Even a river brush would suffice... but it'd be even better with randomly generated rivers.

    Shallow rivers, that are merely a small indent into the ground would suffice.

    i'm getting the impressing that this, and lots of other kickstarter goals will be added later with all the talk about V1.0

    I would love for them to add those. The economy at the moment for me is a bit bland. Something else to fight over would make things more exciting.

    so liquid mines would be the "mines" that could be placed on top of lava?

    I think that those mines should get something to process the lava(liquid) into metal(solid)... then you would be able to use the metal...
    So, for me would be a extractor that could be placed anywhere on lava riveres , but would need a lot of power to run... and would make a lot of metal for you

    EDIT or they could be placed on top of the volcanos

    I honestly don't think these features will ever be implemented. It would have been done already. However, If this does happen, it would be great. Uber still has to implement gas planets and aren't those suppose to have special mining structures for them?

    It seems all those kickstarter features and stretch goals were merely 'maybe' ideas instead of actual game features which would be present.

    I say you're wrong on that.

    If feature X is included in the Kickstarter promotional material, it's promised.

    It'd be like Apple giving their keynote presentation saying the next iPhone will include two more cameras on the sides and then release the iPhone without those extra two cameras.

    The difference being PA will be updated over time and you can't update a physical product. If it isn't in 1.0, that's fine. But it should be added eventually.

    My impression is that the aim for 1.0 is to have something that covers the basics of each stretch goal in the game.

    I know @Brian you view many things as missing, although I'd argue these are the 'fine detail' parts that are going to need more work. I think we're pretty close on getting the first pass on everything and it looks like they will be in by 1.0- currently the biggest omission is Gas Giants and we've been getting bits of info on that so looks like they're next on the hit list.

    Don't get me wrong, I'd love these to be added- however I think for the v1.0 the key is to get everything in at a base level- and no one can argue that both Lava Planets and Metal Planets are very much in the game.

    I consider offline, server, 40 man games, and the unit cannon to be more important than Gas Giants.

    Well offline is very much a confirmed thing (if not available at launch it won't be long after based on discussions with the devs)

    40 man games are supported in engine so this is more of a performance issue (and I think once they release the server we can host them even if Uber don't- although it may require some gentleman's rules to keep performance at reasonable levels which is why Uber aren't enabling them by default just yet). Out of interest Uber have updated their info to state '10 player games' on the release info, which is a very good thing.

    The unit cannon was never actually a promised feature (although I agree it was shown in the kickstarter trailer). I would like this, however I can understand why it isn't in the game yet.

    Gas Giants is the last of the stretch goal features not to be included in the game at all- and it should hopefully bring with it an expansion to orbital which should help shake things up a bit :) The key point is that with gas giants, they will have *something* in the game for every stretch goal. Admittedly they haven't fleshed them all out, however they have got the foundations there which is a good starting point.

    I'm saying they are a higher priority to me than Gas Giants. Apparently Uber thinks otherwise.

    You do make a good point for having something in the game for all the stretch points.

    There were threads in the backers lounge where neutrino clearly said we will have the unit cannon at launch. I consider this promised.
