"In the later news, a brutal murder of a witty gamer, perpetrated by a Seattle area video game developer, occurred this evening after said developer took the term "ban hammer" too literally and used a common sledgehammer instead..."
I don't know if someone told you but launch a planet to another planet and the game crashes. In addition, a more general note, when a player has a planet and another player from another planet, the game is very annoying. Orbital fighter is produced, orbital fabricators trying to build teleporters on the planet to the other, etc. And it's very annoying and often the least patient leaves the game. In fact, I think we should remove the orbital units unfortunately, it's not fun at all.
just wait for the unit cannon, try to shoot nukes and ultimatively launch an asteroid.....some things are here some we have when feature-complete btw. kjotak109 thx for ur reply, but this didnt happen in normal build only on ptr, and i didnt need a specific solution just wantet to report something with coherent may be fishy.
I tried the beta drivers, no luck. I still encounter the same problem. I think that the GW boss systems are custom? I'm guessing here. version: Galactic V70560-main 1397456082721224069 time: 5:40, same build setup but with turrets. let me try an other game, a different configuration.
Regular GW systems are completely random. I think GW boss systems have the exact same planets, but I'm not entirely sure. Also, based on the info below, I take it that you are using multiple monitors: Code: Current Mode: 6048 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz) Native Mode: 1920 x 1080(p) (60.000Hz) PA does not support multi-monitors at this time. Try unplugging your other monitors and run only on your main one to see if the crash issue still occurs. @Zaniaac: Have you tried running the game on your native resolution? Your Dxdiag states that you are running at 1080p, but your monitor's native mode is 1280 x 720. Code: Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz) Native Mode: 1280 x 720(p) (60.000Hz)
I just did a random multiplayer game with AI only. It worked like a charm. The GW map I was playing was an very old GW game I still didn't finish. I am going to assume that was the problem. If not I will report back. Thx for your time kjotak!
Hi, I played two matches on the PTE against AI in absurd difficulty and its way too easy to win if you survive the first 20-30min. On the begining AI is very aggresive and it's cool but after that it seems AI don't want to destroy you too soon waiting for his own annihilation. Here my remark below to help: Bug: - Avenger sometime do not return fire to ennemy Avenger. It happens with many Avenger. - Still pathing issues on metal planet, units stucked - One fatal crash in the middle of the game without any reason AI issues: - AI seems to do not really attack at his maximum, keeping crazy amount of unit inside his base. So well protected base can turtle and build huge army to destroy AI easily. AI should send regularly huge attack to avoid player to expand. It would be more chalenging and fun - AI send commander to suicide on another planet with many satellite defenses when his main base is under attack. It should send radar satellite before - AI continue to sends troops on another planet with teleporter instead of protect his main base under attack - AI build huge air army (Bumblebee, Hornet), but when player build antiair (Hummingbird) it doesn't react. It should also built Hummingbird to counter player and avoid to destroy his air army - AI send his Commander against mine defended with laser defense, it reacts to late to protect his commander and explode - AI doesn't really expand on the whole planet to take advantage of the resources, prefering building massive army and keeping it in his base - AI doesn't use walls to build strong defense point - AI doesn't seem to use multiple nuke area - AI should stop resources draining buildings (nuke) when his resources are low Misc: - Landmine are useless because ennemy destroy them before getting to close to explode on them. They should be invisible to ennemy
Yay... gas giant art... And a bug that affects bodies that cant be landed on... suns.... i sense a precursor bug to behind the scenes gas giant work!!
Hi all, I'm not sure if anyone else has had this. I was playing the PTE yesterday, and some weird stuff happened with the teleporters, the units seemed to come out from a couple of places. Dunno if this has happened to anyone else, or a known issue. Just trying to help, so I thought I'd mention it.
