I would like to suggest you address dox vision range for the same reason you decided to remove the stinger bot.
We might need this in a build down the road. For now, let's test to see how much these current nerfs change things, and step it down slowly, to avoid overshooting and making Dox useless again.
They weren't useless before, just very specialised. Players like elodea had them as part of their standard opening.
Can we get the ability to remap the middle mouse button? As in, being able to move the map without having to use the uncomfortable and difficult to use middle mouse button? Currently I'm using x-mouse button control, and have my MMB remapped to mouse button 5, one of the side buttons. I guess it's the other way around, but you get the idea.
Game just crashed for me. Was playing a two planet system and after ten minutes of playing it used up all 16GB of my RAM.
I also had a crash. Tried it a second time, it crashed at 3:29 I was playing GW against a factionleader. Three metal planets
Guys, if possible please get the ID for those games. That way Uber can look into what happened. Without the ID there isn't much that can be done. Also any info on what was *actually happening* when these crashes occurred? If we can identify a repeatable bug then it's much easier to fix.
When I try to get the replays and filter on my games it says: Failed to retreave replay list I can't say much about what is was doing. I had build a tank factory, some mines and some ants/spinners/inferno's. There where about 6 or 7 AI's, two where my allies. I like the new queue order lines btw!
Yea, my game just crashed again, how do I submit the an ID so Uber can look at it? I am running updated graphics drivers on my Nvidia 670 2GB
There are two ways you can submit a LobbyID: 1) Play any game. Look below the version number (Something like "Galactic War: Build 70560-main") and you will find the Lobby ID. Record it on a sheet of paper, then post it on the forums. 2) Look through the replay list (in your case, it didn't quite work out) and record the LobbyID of the game that had problems. EDIT: @Zaniaac and @rancor47: Please check my signature below and upload your Dxdiags. EDIT 2: @Zaniaac: How could you crash after ten minutes with 16 GB of RAM? I haven't tried the PTE yet, but I have the same amount of RAM and never crashed even once.
Units still getting stuck in teleporter and connection lost to server when trying to watch the replay after the game.
I'm gonna ask Jorgen to take a look at the Mac build for a while this morning. We're running on 10.8.x and 10.9.x here, and haven't been seeing crashing problems. I'll direct him here though and we'll get some AI games up and running to see if we can locate some crashes.
How can I crash with 16GB of RAM? I have no clue. I wasn't having crashing problems before the newest PTE version. Infact, the game ran quite well, now I can't play more then about 10 minutes before it completely locking up the game and crashing. I have the newest WHQL drivers available from Nvidia. (340.52) If you haven't tried the newest PTE yet, then why on earth are you commenting? How do you know that you wont crash when playing?
Okay, I'll try the PTE today. By the way, what type of planets were you playing on? Earth planets? Lava planets? Also, were you doing 1v1 or were you fighting multiple AI?
I did the standard 2 planet system that the game randomly comes up with. One was a earth planet and the other was a desert planet. I fought against one A.i. I didn't get very far due to the game's crash. So not many units or structures, the A.i didn't seem to spread out either. difficulty was set to normal.
Okay, I'll try out a similar set up on the PTE, but this time, I will play with one metal planet and one moon against one AI. Difficulty will be the same. I will edit this post when the results come in. EDIT: I didn't crash at all during the match. See my post on page 3 for details.
had massive lag in menue, coherent used ~40% of cpu capacity. then after playing game (when it was running it was no lag anymore) at victory screen lag reapeared and when i closed program it exitet with crash message. also having captured a moon is like a trap for ai....it sends his lonly commanders up there, astareus gets killed instantly, and if he was dropped before that he has no chance against some bombers. all 4 commanders in my game died on the moon (one had defence but it was not enough). game id was 4758814918589802305
