I just wasted 2 hours of my time on the last 5 games.

In my zeroth game, I was playing against someone, 1 vs 1, and decided to do a Dox rush. I won, yes. But at a great cost. The map I was playing on had many obstacles, and many of my Doxes ended up failing to navigate; or rather, they became STUCK. I tried to move them again, but they remained STUCK. Bad pathfinding algorithm.

In my first game, I was in this 3 vs 3 shared teams, where one teammate was being a jerk and was not building any power, and another was draining all resources, resulting in a 25% efficiency that made me lose my patience, as I had wanted to build a single teleporter just to link up 2 spots to flank the enemy from the rear of his base, but ultimately it failed due to power being in the negative -20k.

In my second, it was a 3 vs 3 shared teams, and an ally was being a jerk by controlling my Centurion commander (all of us had different commanders) and then insisting that it is his, while for odd reasons, the other 2 commanders were also being controlled. Fed up, I self-destructed my own commander and quit.

In my third, it was a 4 vs 4 unshared teams. I managed to set up 2 colonies on 2 other worlds, and had lots of metals (800+), before my 3 allies were wiped out. One was an Ocean world, and it prevented invasions, thus allowing me to get all the metals. The other was an asteroid where I took control, and started to invade the only other Halleyable moon. Then when I was about to succeed, the game crashed, and when I tried to reconnect, it reconnected to a game that I don't even recall having played on. In the end, I couldn't reconnect, even though I knew I had that game, and could have won.

In my fourth, it was a 5 player FFA where we all had our own starting worlds. Just when everything was proceeding so smoothly, I encountered the bug where there was this screen issue (greyed out screen bug), and had to quit, and rejoin. It then reconnected me to that exact game in the last paragraph where I had not played.

So now, sick and tired, I deleted PA for good. At least, until the grey screen bug, reconnection bug, and repeated crashes (my comp exceeds the recommended sys specs by a lot), and possibly a icon to display who's commander is who's, I'm officially done with PA for now. Oh, yes, and a ladder system to avoid teaming up with very newbie allies, and that pathfinding bug. By the way, I'm also a very good player with consistent wins, and I rarely bug my allies or become a liability.

    Solutions to each:
    1. People you don't know will hog your eco. Don't play with people you don't know.
    2. People you don't know are less willingly to play as a 'team' - they'll make mistakes like select your commander.
    3. Aw I still love you. Too bad.
    4. If screen greys out or browns out (as it did for me today) what you can do is open up your PIP, then press the double arrow button - this switches the PIP screen (which should be fine) and the main screen.

Well if you've deleted PA we won't miss you.

EDIT: You should probably play a 1v1 on a moon. Stable, no pathing problems and no teammates to carry help you.

With shared armies, the armies are shared. This means you don't own a base or even a commander. The challenge is in coordinating with your team and creating a working war machine that can run smoothly with so many people controlling it. Voice chat gelps for this. You also need to be patient and accept some imperfection. We play these games for fun, right? Chill out and take team games a little less seriously or find a team that wants to play the way you do. Don't expect random teammates to have the same idea of fun as you. Most people just want to see some robots explode. Rage quitting and sabotaging the team by deleting a commander is a troll move and I almost stopped reading when I read that. You could have just left the game and let them keep playing.

If you are as competitive of a player as you claim to be, why aren't you playing a lot of 1v1s like the rest of us? Team games are hard to play competitively without voice chat so most competitive players do 1v1 games. Just be aware that if you lose a 1v1 you have nobody to blame, so you might need to mentally prepare yourself for that.

When you play shared armies, you don't have a commander. There is no "your" or "my" in shared armies.

Sounds like you need a break, it's easy to get sucked into playing too much of games like this.

I already have 1683 hours of played time on this game.

Not as bad as World of Warcraft. I had 582 DAYS of played time on that game, 12000+ hours on Counterstrike, 2000+ on TF2.

Err you're not impressing us if that's what you're looking for. Maybe explore outside?

Hang on 1683 hours?? Let's say you started playing this around in Beta, so around October 2013. That was about 10 months ago. There are 30 days in a month on average during this time. 300 days. So 1683 hours over 300 days is a little over 5 and a half hours every day. Wow. Sorry to embarrass you but that's a little unhealthy.

If you're so adept you should play against anyone in the top 40 of the PA-Stats Ladder.

The reason why I played so much is because I had a lot of time, and also, I couldn't care much about real life. I was a famous shadow priest and a guildmaster in WoW, and that was my main identity. I have quit WoW a long time ago because it made no sense to invest so much effort in games, but I couldn't quit my gaming addiction even till now.

I used to remember that I had 30 million gold in WoW before quitting. I sold them to others and made a couple thousand bucks.

EDIT: I expected someone would finish the sentence with "madness", but I had to be disappointed.

I never played WoW. I always thought the people who play MMORPGs were really weird and socially awkward. I guess I was wrong...

On top of all that played time, I forgot to mention that I also had probably 1000+ hours on Dota 1, though it was not clocked. The 12000+ hours was on CS: Source. I probably had 10000 hours on CS vanilla.
