I'm trying to make a cool animation with PA which involves 3d planets and some text, all done in Cinema 4d and After Effects.

The problem is, i don't know how to get a planet model without modeling it in c4d using low poly techniques. It would be so much easier if there was something in the files or, idk something else i could use to get one.

    Any thoughts?

Given how the planets are procedurally generated there aren't any "planet" models aside from MAYBE a completely blank sphere(but even that could be generated on demand as it were) and all the hills, terrain doodads and textures are a result of the CSG system.

Hmm, well at least there is something in the files that could do this. I wish we could 'capture' the generated planet.

If only there was a way to... never mind

    Btw, what's the CSG system?

It's building a 3D model by adding, subtracting and otherwise intersecting different models together. So PA starts with a sphere, then adds mountains, subtracts caverns etc. to create the terrain.
