Hi Guys, sorry for my bad English, but i hope u can help me... I bought the Game Yesterday and it works fine for the first 2-3 hours ... then comes the problems: 1. Multiplayer makes different Problems, once the Gamelist will shut down with the Messeage: (Cant Retrive Gamelist) - then another time i cant join any Games and it follows with the first one (the Messeage). Confused: I cant do anything after it, because after the Main Menu and going again into the Multiplayer, there are no Games listed. When i close the Game i need to restart my Computer that i can open some Sites in my Browser (wtf? ) 2. Singleplayer wont work now (in the first 2-3 hours after installation it has been worked) - everytime i become the Messeage: Cant create Game or something like that 3. Sometimes after this Problems i cant login (ingame) to Ubernet with the Reasson: 443 (or was it 433?) Thats the Main Problems - i dont know why it makes so hard trubble, cant understand it. The funny thing is, sometimes it works ?! - i can start the game, find many Games in the list and join someone and can play like no problems before... And the last little Problem: 4. I cant switch my Commander in a Multiplayer Game Lobby, when i click on the little Arrow to change him, i only become a little blue bar - yesterday (since the first 3 hours ^^) does it works ... Can somebody help me? (please :'-( ) My steps before posting here was: 1. Uninstall and redownloaded via Steam the Game 2. Checking for brocken Files via Steam 3. Updated my Nvidia Driver 4. Smoked some frustraded Cigarettes My System: Win 7 64 bit Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti Intel i5 2x 2,67 Ghz 6Gb Ram DD3 So please help me when u got any idears ^^ - i really love the game but cant help my self now ^^ (Got no Problems with other Games) Greetz Lyro
This could be an issue with your internet... Are you using wifi by any chance? At the moment PA is linked to Ubers server (it will be until they release the full offline mode some time after release). That is why this can be a problem even with single player. Things to try and help: Connect to your router using a cable rather than wifi (as bad wifi signal can really cause problems with PA). Check your internet speed, you really need a steady 6mbit / sec or faster connection to play it reliably in my experience. Final thing, there have been some problems with the Steam version, so you could try the stand alone version: https://store.uberent.com/download/pa Let me know if any of that helps.
Thanks 4 the fast answer, ... i dont use wifi, always with cable ^^ - my connection speed okay, can be but i dont think so - i got 1,6 mb (16000) and when it works, i got no lags or something. the last step from u i will try now instantly and will report my experience here ty 4 help greetz lyro
PA currently uses a bit more than 1,6 mbs bandwidth to play. You say when PA is starting to "act weird" you can't even open websites anymore. That means the game itself also can't connect to the servers anymore (like cdrfk explained, you currently need to be connected to play single player). How are you connected to the internet?
