Earlier today a guy was hosting a game. He claimed the system was a random generated one. 2 sec into the game, 2 or 4 of the planets crash into eachother, causing the 2 or 4 planets to be destroyed. He then rehosted a different system, where the exact same thing happened.

Maybe he did make the systems like that unintentionally or maybe they actually were random. Either way a "collision detection script" of some sort would be nice. Either in the system builder or right before the match starts and the systems are being build.

The last patch changed a few safety guard against planetary collisions.
Altrough it create some nice cases, there are a lot of unexpected side effects from what i see on the support forums...

Yeah it probably was a random system. Really Uber need to implement System Sharing as a game wide feature- that way people can have access to loads user created *working* systems rather than relying on the random systems which are a bit predictable at the moment.

I agree, implementing system sharing would be great feature for PA. Adding some more systems to the "uber selection"/"official systems" wouldn't be bad either as new players tend to go for the random or default systems.
The random systems are not only broken sometimes, I think they often spawn too many planets instead of larger, but fewer ones.
