Tryed this ("C:\Program Files (x86)\PA\Planetary Annihilation\PTE\PA.exe --no-mods") gives an error ("C:\Program Files (x86)\PA\Planetary Annihilation\PTE\PA.exe" --no-mods) with this PA wont launch...
Well IF it is specified in the game, it launches a clean PA with no mods activated, but if not specified by it's makers it will do absolutely nothing.
Well im getting crash every game now, so I need to know if this is the mod leftovers from last PA installation or something else..
Well if you removed all Uber and PA folders in all the directories people specified, and did a reinstall of PA it should work. If not something else is causing the trouble.
Djees, well no clue how you got that on your hands, all i can say is. Delete all folders specified in other posts, delete PA run a registry cleaner (ccleaner) reinstall PA and it should work. I did several matches of the new build but never seen your bug before.
Isn't there a little typo here ? Should be --nomods, right ? If anyone is interested of having a button in PAMM, you might check this This is a temporary workaround until it's properly implemented.
I just went back through the builds, the last time I could get --help to work was back in build 68767. Not sure if that just means "--help" is no longer an option, or if all command-line parameters are broken. Correct (this is from 68767, since I can't get it for this build):
aah i see you guys went for the double -- while most game just go for the single - that was the bit that confused me
It's working on OS X; only new option I see is Code: | --shaderurl : url for custom shaders. SXX noticed it in 69170, which probably means help is working on Linux as well.
Apologies, it is in fact --nomods. And as for --, it's more reliable and parses better in more environments, as I understand it.
