Ingame IRC (not friends chat)

Can't, the way it's set up is very specific.

I also have this problem when I had PA Stats turned on.

Click on the IRC- game frozen.

Btw I also run dual screens if that helps...

yeah but so do I, the I would say the diference is I run linux but Cola runs windows.

Why don't you ask Colin directly in PA Stats thread ? That would be the best place to get help on this issue.
He already said it was first pass, give him time to improve it, yet I'm sure he will be glad to have some more feedback.

It's more so that I have one really old screen, and only one of the new screens is HDMI compatible, so I can only set up the cables one way.

I've now seen this and I confirm I have seen it as well, maybe one or two times when experimenting. Though that was after multiple reloads and has never happen in normal usage. Weird. There were no errors in the debugger. In fact the whole uberbar scene seems to freeze completely, can't even reload it, have to restart PA. I have no idea what's happening. Most likely some sort of coherent freeze.

No idea why you guys have it 100% of the time. I had it like 2 times or so in the long dozen tests I did after many reloads.
All I can recommend is to just not click the IRC button and not use it :S
Or is there some issue that prevents that?

Naw, I was just wondering what it was, never intended to use it really, tatsu just started trying to fix it

Though I'd be interested to see if there are more people with the same issue.

Yeah me and flop both had same problem- click it and the UI freezes up....

I do not have dual screens so has nothing to do with that i think.

Edit: And the whole game doesn't freeze for me either. When i click the irc button i can still drag it around and all that, but when i click connect it freezes. I can still play the game in the background tough. Only the friends list doesn't work anymore

Edit2: It seems that only buttons that are under the irc panel or close to it when i click connect stop working.
