Please don't talk about things if you don't know what you're talking about.

I don't see anything majorly wrong with what was said. I'd like to know what was incorrect in the article.

I'll admit I don't know enough on the quantities for viewer-count or prize pools to comment on the veracity of what was said, but that's a reflection on my disinterest in the MOBA genre.

In terms of social commentary, specifically on the freedom of choice that the Internet and streaming services offer to people; I agree with that entirely. Television is spoon-feeding for the most part.

It's just the general vibe an attitude toward gaming the video has.

How does the vibe and attitude show they don't know what they're talking about?

It's condescending at the attitude in speech to each line feels like they're FORCED to say it's big and making lots of money. They got a terrible interview-ee in that Essex kid who kept tripping over his words, and it was overall just reeking of "WE'RE THE BBC, WE'RE OLD"

Then again the BBC are london-centric and outdated, so not even surprised; and anything they do related to "youths" is handled awfully. Just look at their young-adult channel, BBC Three - it's the cringiest sh*t

As far as outdated views go, this video was mild. The teenager comment at the beginning was the most offensive thing in it, and that didn't make my blood boil. The video wasn't dismissive, which is good. The choice of commentator may indicate a bias, but he is big and local to the bbc.

Isn't BBC News essentially just Fox News with Brits?

Apart from that, I honestly love it when extreme conservatist news stations talk about vidya and vidya related topics. It's just hilarious most of the time, they act like they're above video games and they almost never know what they're talking about.

I don't know, I don't watch BBC, I'm in Australia, we have the ABC and I don't watch their news because I HAVE THE INTERNET.

I might be speaking from ignorance here but I think it might be safe to say that Fox is far worse than the BBC.

Oh it definitely is, but from what I've heard BBC is still pretty bad.

Fox News is SO bad that is can almost be considered a propaganda news outlet. They bring in people to "interview" on various topics, but whenever the interviewee gets close to saying something the interviewer cuts him/her off.

And then there's the always lovely Miss Nancy Grace. I'd say something about her, but... honestly I can't even begin to put her into words.

BBC isnt even remotely on the same level as FOX though. It may be subtly biased, but it's still... "respectable".

The BBC as bad as fox?

Bias? Hard to avoid, but fox? Hell no.

I just hate it when they never let anyone finish speaking, he can't even let out a full point; even when he does, they just disregard it completely.
