Ok so I just got the game a couple days ago. I was trying out the teleporter for the first time. I was trying to teleport to a nearby moon with some air fabs. It wouldn't work. I definitely had the teleporter working right, because a few seconds later I sent bot fabs through just fine. So my question is can only land units go through the teleporter? Or should air units work as well? If I built corresponding teleporters on the ocean could I send sea units through?
...Unless you mod it, no, by default only land. Mod that junk, and you can do it. It doesn't need to be a massive mod, you could just tweak the teleporter and borrow the one from Statera but just the teleporter not the whole mod. I am sure nobody would mind you using a mod like that, barring they turn on the mods filter to find your match in the first place.
The thing preventing some units from using the teleporter is lacking the use command. It's nothing to do with teleporters (Except for the fact that teles can't be built on water).
Oh so you would have to change many units. For someone who played with that, I sure know very little about it. Seems like so long ago.
