Ideas From Geers - Collector's Edition

    I've decided to collate all the amazing, mindblowing ideas I've had that should win me a Nobel Prize at least:

    A command that tells a factory to copy the build-queue of another factory.
    - *sub idea* when using a click-drag build order, the first factory is a "master factory" so whatever queue it gets will be copied to the subsequent factories. If you don't want that to happen, shift+click drag?

    An alert for when an Astraues arrives at a planet. This should be done per move order that way when you send 500 landers you get one alert and not 500.

    A button for the teleporter that takes you to the linked gate in either the main screen or PiP

    Orbital bombardment because orbital bombardment is cool.

    so how shall that orbital bombardment look like for when we have anchors and sxx already in, yea i know it´s more pew pew pew than boom boom boom but it´s still orbital antiground ... and the anchor even orbital antiair last i checked

    If Anchors are going to attack the ground it shouldn't be with the machine guns or whatever it is/was. Too boring.

    that's right click a factory with another one selected from supcom. it even duplicates the rally, no matter how complex.

    It'll come.

    Truth be told the projectiles in this picture look a bit 'meh', too. But I agree with you, orbital bombardment is no spitting contest and should be given the visuals to support its, uhm, impact on gameplay.

    ..Wormsign Detected.. as a child playing Dune II this was literally the scariest to me and would send a furry of clicks to scatter everyone to the nearest rock outcrop. I support reintroducing this fear to a new generation!

    I can't remember if it's in the game or not but tank tracks/bot footprints would be cool. So you can see where giant armies have been.

    I always thought Anchors bombarding the planet looked pretty bad ***. Especially when you get a bunch of them firing.

    Moving blueprints in the Build Queue around, similar to supcom, also canceling buildings in the queue would be nice.

    Since the projectiles from anchors look lame I have an idea that would probably make them look better.

    The anchors would shoot SAND WORMS!!!!

    I can just imagine it now, 40 anchors each firing 2 sand worms per second, FROM SPACE!!
