Had a play on Total Annihilation today and noticed how useful it was when you scrolled over a boulder/wreckage and it displayed the amount of reclaimable Metal.

While the grey 'HP' bar we currently have is a good indicator for how depleted/damaged an object is, it doesn't tell us how much Metal is available so has little context (outside us assuming bigger/more advanced wrecks provide more metal).

    Some semi-related Reclaiming wishes:
It'd be cool if wrecks degraded into lower debris, rather than vanishing.
Also I'd love it if wrecks were more durable (as often there is not a left to hoover up when two huge armies duke it out).
This could be quite cool for tactics if multiple wrecks created an obstruction (as trees do now) and we were forced to choose between a big metal boom or an defensive debris field.

Also... Why are trees made of Metal? Shouldn't we burn them for Energy? :D What about reclaimable boulders?

Keep up the [IMG] work, Uber :)

I'd like to see the ability to specify a feature file to use as the wreckage for units & features. This would allow custom wreckages to be specified, as well as "chaining" wreckages.
