Uber, How do You Pronounce the Halley?

Is it "Hal-ee" or "Hā-lee"

Assuming it is named after the astronomer Edmond Halley, same as Halley's Comet, it would be pronounced like this:

That's what I had assumed as well.

Though I often see that pronounced as hay-lee, (I do pronounce the rockets as hal-lee)

I guess that makes sense.

One of my high school friends was named "Halye" and pronounced it "Hay-lee" so this'll take some getting used to.

I think that 'e' causes the confusion, cause it's just pronounced "Hally". I've always said 'Hay-lee's comet'.

I pronounce it hal-lee, but that is because it's spelling doesn't suggest the comet directly.

Reguardless of who found it, the comet is spelled hailey, so when I first saw the PA delta v engine, I didn't really think.

Anyway, I probably will keep pronouncing it wrong. It is pronounced like the comet. I know how Uber pronounces it, I saw it last live stream, or was it their galactic war demo, either way they said it aloud once.

I was watching Cosmos when it was about Halley (that man is underrated) and only then did the name click. I mean, that was like a week ago.

Isn't there a unit named barracuda? Or didn't there used to be one?

I was just wondering how to pronounce that, barra-cuda or barrac-uda. Cuz I heard someone say the second version in a nature documentary... That's the first time I heard it being pronounced that way.
