All of my icons, including metal deposits, units, buildings, and commanders are simply black squares. I believe I am on Galactic War: v.68568. I would like to know if there is something wrong with my computer or if I can fix it easily. Thanks!

Are you playing on Window, Mac or Linux? If it's Windows please check my signature, create DxDiag.txt, and upload it on forum. If it's Mac or Linux please copy and paste your system information in this topic: In Steam window -> top menu bar -> click "Help" -> click "System Information"
Your problem caused by outdated drivers: To update drivers download and install "win64_152822.exe" from Intel website: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23764 If you get "not validated for this computer" error download ZIP version of driver ("win64_152822.zip") from same page and then install it using this instruction: http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/2/558749190911446231/ PS: Pretty weird that game run at all.

No, I didn't mean laptop. I have laptop with similar config that can run PA. Though fact that game even launched on drivers from 2011 is weird.
