We allied and killed zaphod, bsport, and proeleert, and then I lost because I had all my forces in zaphod's base but Quitch kept reserves.

So Brad, what time is this in UTC? Everybody is using UTC now for tournaments. Didn't you get the memo?

I stalled my eco since I was playing for the first time in a month. While I was figuring out what to do Captain beat Zaphod, then I destroyed bsport who had been AFK for a while due to beer or something, and finally my army was larger than Captain's.

It was all skill.

Plus the west coast is on PDT not PST.

You have to play with actual players to assess your skill level.

No, it's PST when you're not in daylight savings time, then it's PDT when you are (or are there states on the west coast without daylight savings?). Same way the UK is GMT for half the year and BST for the other half. If you try and arrange a GMT meeting with someone in the UK right now thinking it's local time, you're gonna miss them by an hour.

It's why we use UTC, because it never changes.

@garat and @metabolical , are there any changes being made to spectator mode to allow the alliances to be visualized? It's hard to see who's allied with whom currently, and I can imagine that trying to track the alliances being made and broken in real-time would be difficult for viewers if it was not visible in the spectator panel somehow.

perhaps that or its just 3 ffa the first two you split the 16 into two groups of 8 then the last 4 alive from each group combine into one last 8 person ffa for all the marbles

Same goes for alliance mode. The only way to see who's teamed up is to pay attention during the lobby. Not ideal.

The format is 4 four person FFA's each with the winner automatically in the FFA Final. The second friday is 3 four person FFA's with each of those winners going to the final. the final will be 7 people. although the chance of uber changing it up with the amount in the final due to some unknown variable is likely since you know, it's uber.

It should stay at 7 just to avoid 10+casters lobby pain.
