Are you sure godde and his teammate where not Afk too? Either way there is not much tricks to orbital. Once orbital games begins to pop up in ladder games, the top players that don't play will just learn the basics. If you can protect your main planet and build and expend on the second planet you would need to be a very good basic 1v1 player to start with.

That game lasted only 17 minutes too which I doubt you managed to show all your orbital skills

Imo tohron should be allowed to try. Perhaps we could do a qualifier first if not? There are allot of good players who don't really get orbital at all?! I personally like orbital play more than allot of people.

I'll doubt matiz would fall for orbital tricks 3 time in a row. Best thing to have a shot at it is make a good orbital system and start 1v1'ing top 10 players and win. PAStats records all games, so you don't need to play automatches to get higher up on the ladder. Also you don't have any recent games that count towards the 1v1 ladder so start playing.

Do well on the ladder, do well in tournaments, and we'll come knocking.

I was sad to see Clospe lose there. Matiz is a cruel and oppressive king, we demand a new king.

You know what? Peasant uprising! Next weak we should see Matiz 1 vs 3 vs random people for the right to vote the next king. To be fair the combined elo/true skill ratio (whatever ladder you use) of the three people should be comparable to Matiz as a group. That would be interesting, IMO, mainly because I'm tired of 1v1s and I think that due to the size of the game team games are much more enjoyable. Does anyone else agree?

I'm in a long term relationship and I honestly couldn't think of anything worse than being single again and being in 'the game' so to speak... Surely you should only be in a long term relationship if you actually *like* your partner?!

I guess it stems from all the funny 'ball and chain' type attitude / jokes, which incidentally I think is pretty distasteful and disloyal but guess that's just me /rant.

Game 1 should have gone to Clopse. He took air control. If he had just taken advantage of that and started fast expanding with air fabbers Matiz would never have recovered. Instead he let his eco stagnate, which allowed Matiz to recover.

Yeah game 1 was an untested build. Worked well against normal ai and nobody was around to try it against. Matiz also didn't like the map where this would work better. I think I would have won with a more standard build as matiz was most rusty that game. Ah well

Actually, If you do it correctly, playing vs AI is one of the best ways to practice in PA. Before I play KOTP I always play 4-7 games vs AI and I'm not even trolling now
