Anyone else noticing all the bugs in this version? Talking about things like build options refusing to show up, escape menu refusing to show up, games ending... but then just refusing to actually end, and other gui and game problems.
They completely reworked the UI back end for this build (as the earlier version was very slow and 'laggy'). The result is a much faster UI but it's less stable as it hasn't really had many patches. If it wasn't for the July 4th holiday weekend I'm certain Uber would have already released a bug fix patch for this, I expect they will release a number of small updates this week to get this build a little more stable. On a plus note we held a tournament over the weekend and actually didn't have *that* many problems with the patch. If the UI gets stuck hitting F5 usually brings it back to life. Also remember to disable all mods if your having problems. Then try re-enabling them 1 at a time as many mods aren't compatible with the updated UI system. Mods that I know are fine is System Sharing and PA Stats.
Yes. When you select a unit that should have a build menu sometimes it doesn't display properly. I have found hitting escape a couple of times some times fixs this. If that doesn't work then I hit F5 to reload the UI.
Theres always bugs in this game, the last game I played some other guy's commander was glitched in orbit, he wasn't even going around the sun, just doin figure 8s around 2 moons. I thought they woulda fixed commander orbit glitches by now ;/
