Interesting first match. Clopse's initial air dominance and raiding was excellent, but once he lost air it was over for him. Looking forward to seeing the next games.

I want to watch it, but its only in "source" quality. 3s watching, 4s waiting -.- I don't have connection to watch full hd twitch stream.

Wish there were different options for video quality. My internet isn't doing well right now, so the stream is ultra-choppy.

And we're done. Thanks everyone who turned up to watch. If you missed it be sure to keep an eye on our matches page, and replays will be uploaded over the course of the week - http://exodusesports.com/tournament/king-planet-8/matches/

Would welcome any feedback you have. We'll definitely be reviewing stream quality for next time due to issues some people had in watching.

Nice show, well done and well played King and Challenger.

Stream wasn't laggy at all for me and quality was great. Some streams got options to set quality but I think you have to pay something for that... not sure thought.

Well Matiz's lazy prep almost defeated Matiz this time.

Well, like I said before, if multi-planet maps are still allowed, I have a good chance of getting 3 wins given Matiz' lack of orbital experience.

Rules exist to order the chaos, if we ignore rules to do something we want the generate chaos, we want to avoid chaos
so this is an no go ;D

We actually changed the rules recently to allow multi-planet because it seems like the orbital balance is starting to become better suited for this kind of competition. My advice to anyone that wants to compete is to download PA Stats and win a lot against good players. Hanging out in irc where you can become more well known can't hurt either.

The problem there is that (to my knowledge) PA Stats still doesn't have orbital maps in the auto-1v1 queue, and while I've won a couple games there on single planets, I'm definitely much better in multi-planet systems where I can really leverage my skill at fast uncontested expansion.

Thus, the only real evidence of my ability is this game (http://www.pastats.com/chart?gameId=96411) where I beat Godde and another player with an AFK teammate. I'm definitely eager for opportunities to face experienced players on orbital maps though.
