Offline mode with galactic war single player?

I am often in areas for prolonged periods of time that do not have internet or phone service readily available to me. Being that there is a single player mode for PA, why is it that I cannot use it when offline? If the offline feature does not exist, will one be implemented and when can I expect it's release?

Offline will be possible once server will be released and it's planned for official game release. For now you can't play offline because all games running on UberNet servers.

Yep, and the reason for that is so that it makes it easy to find bugs. (Every time the game crashes a report is sent to Uber) it also makes pushing updates simple.
