I've recently been having issues where the AI player gets a headstart on galactic war matches. Having clicked the "fight" button on the galactic map, the game loads the world, but assigns my commander a landing site automatically, and doesn't finish rendering the world or loading the UI for another minute or so. In one case I lost the match, watched the replay and saw that the AI had been supposedly wandering around building a base 4 minutes before I was able to. This only happens some of the time, other times the world loads and lets me choose a landing site as normal. Is there a time limit on choosing a landing site that's being used up before the world renders, or is this a bug in which the game decides that from the moment it starts loading the world, the match has started? Has anyone else had these problems? I'm running an AMD A10 with 4GBs of RAM on 64-bit Windows 8.
There was few reports that loading in this build might take a bit more longer. If you're running game via Steam try those workarounds: 1 - Try to run game without "Steam Community Overlay": Right click the game in your Library -> Select Properties -> On the General tab, uncheck the box next to Enable Steam Community In-Game 2 - Try to run game via standalone launcher: https://store.uberent.com/download/pa It's might as well happen because game is out of memory. E.g your OS take a cut (e.g like 300-500MB) and your integrated graphics likely use at least 1GB RAM. So basically game only have 2.5 in best situation ever and there is UI that using at least 500MB and actually even more. I would recommend run game in windowed mode together with Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del to activate) and see what total memory usage looks like. Most likely you just need to buy more RAM. To decrease memory usage you might want to set "virtual textures" to "low" even if you didn't do that yet.
