PTE 68079... WOW!?!

Just had to post this, first time I've tried the new PTE and I'm amazed?!

CPU usage has gone up to circa 80% when playing (on a Phenom II X3 tri core), playing a 1 v 1 against an Uber AI fps never dropped much below 100 all game?!

The UI lag is completely gone- and I'm loving the improvements to the UI.

Honestly this is night and day difference from the previous build- this is running smooth as butter Nice work, seriously impressed!

It's silky smooth on my system, but very buggy.

No joke- this is my experience on my machine (Phenom II X3 + GTX 560)....

This is first pass on MT for the client and it is MUCH faster

hmm my pte doesnt get a new version. its still stuck on 67523.

Agreed. This build is fantastic.

67523 is the stable build.

There have been 2 PTE version since that- 67999 and 68079

Oh man i gotta say. this is the fun most ive had in a long time. The game is actually responsive now. it actually felt like i was playing Starcraft 2. in terms of unit actually doing what i told them too. i could even micro and i didn feel frustrating.

Its like a whole other game.

Its really funny playing FFA in this game. Even just 4 players. I killed one commander just fine. then me and one of the AI got so focussed on each other. that the last AI just comes and runs everyone over LOL.

Its really easy to get tunnel vision. It seems the old saying, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, is true for this game. Way better to focus on the player that is the biggest so they arent just left alone to their own devices.

If you are running fraps it crashes. for some odd reason.

No doubt the PTE gives a massive performance boost

Must be a system specific bug, I run FRAPS, I even took screenshots in the PTE and never had a problem.

Nope. The Coherent UI crashes.

What does PTE build mean?

Some say Patch Test Environment, but i prefer Pretty Terrible Experience.
