Having a commander just for the backers is nice, but I didn't back this game for something stupid like loot.

I backed it because I wanted the game to be made, any extras is just good gravy.

Well that's fine, and I agree it was to help fund the game, but it was promised as an exclusive, it even literally said so! So it'd feel pretty cheaty to lose it. :/

Well, the exact term used is " limited edition ".

Seems a little off for it to suddenly become unlimited though, I agree.

If blocky commander (Gamma?) shows up in the armory I will buy it, with moneys, gladly, in support of independent development and a great dev team.
Uber can make all the money they want on extra commanders, if even 1% of those profits is reinvested into continued PA development after release then that is worth it !

So many people keep wanting to have exclusive things, I can understand wanting to have a thing, but do you really want other people to NOT have the thing that much ? what does that get you beyond a status symbol ?

Everyone can have a free Alpha as far as I care, as long as I get to keep mine and no I don't need my KS pledge back, that was to support the game, which I'm happy is being made.

I backed and am glad to have the commanders. I was more focused on physical goodies. The commanders would be nice to keep. I wouldn't even mind if store included model-variant progenitor and alpha and such (like delta = invictus). As long as backers keep the "good" one.

That being said, as long as they make sense of it and don't screw something up. If alpha commanders were in armory for 40 bucks, and they specified that was it's previous price so they couldn't ask for less, anyone willing to buy one is up to them. It really makes you question any alpha owners actually played/backed alpha, but hey, whatevs, as long as it's value doesn't depreciate terribly much, and a large price in the armory would keep it's initial value at least.

Everybody's forgetting that in addition to regular Armalisk we also have a retextured version in the game files, known as "Sacrificial Lamb".

Both quotes. The issue for me it is unprofessional to say one thing and do another. A pledge is reciprocal. A backer backed at a specific tier and that included all previous tiers.

It's reasonable to assume the early backer reward commanders will stay that way.

I would recommend holding any rage bottled up until Uber actually puts them out for sale. Which probably won't happen.

If it does though, you can all get your pitchforks, and I will light all your torches dear villagers.
