I am trying to reach the heads at uber to see if they would be willing to help get word out about a kickstarter soon to be launched that my small indi studio group will be launching soon, My group is working with the original makers of the game we are doing a reinterpretation of the old RTS that is "unnamed", we already have been backed with 20k to help the team reach the pre-kickstarter but I would like to get in contact with the heads here and see if they would be ok with helping get the word out after they look over the kickstarter preview page we have up.
Not sure if unrelated discussion will get attention, or if it would be appropriate to post elsewhere. Does look interesting, what rts is it? Is that its name in the quotes?
Our project originally started out as a fan tribute of the old RTS Netstorm islands at war, well into development our project then caught the eye of the original developers who are now working directly with us on designing new IP that does not use the old world or IP from the first game that Activison owns but using strictly new designs to shape a new style and world..

Thanks Cola also it feels really good to have gone from just being fans working on a project to now working with the original artist and designers helping to shape a new feel esp with people that have been old timers in the game development industry...
Yep. Ascended fanboy, although as a former Vanguard accused of bad word choices before I feel you might take offense to that title, but we have one in PA to, he is Sorian from the good AI mod from Supcom, he is now an actual Uber Entertainment Developer, and man do we love him . Devs actually check these forums enough, I am sure if they seen this game before, and they are legacy fans themselves, they will at least nod their head at it. If it makes you feel any better, I would nod my head at it.
