Yes It's being lifted by an Astraeus on a moon that smashed into the one in-shot.

It's a perspective thing isn't it? By rotating the camera and viewing the commander up close, it looks as if hes super big but he's not.

That fourth one looks like PA if it was made in the early 2000's.

the comm is on another planet but you were focused on the planet shown in the picture. So the terrain glitches and only shows models. That's why there are these weird rocks in the photo.
