Galactic War

    The problem at the moment (its a work in progress I know :) ) is that it is impossible to win a game when the AI is on another planet. I wipe the planets easily but when I can't get to space or they have had such a head start I find that their planet is usually pimped out and ready to smash into your own. Maybe this is irrelevant with new builds?

    It certainly is difficult, but not impossible. Invade the planet using 100 to 200 astraeuses. Filled mostly with spinners, and a bunch of fabricators. Use the fabbers to build a teleporter, link, and rush units through.

    It works pretty much every time.

    It may be a bit harder to do now that hornets are the way they are, but possible.

    Very true.

    I haven't played on the new build since the UI keeps on crashing for me.

    And it only worked some of the time on the PTE build. :-/

    Astraeus is an air unit when it's near the ground. So yes.

    I agree this needs some attention. I've just started playing PA for about 10 hours total this weekend. Love the game, it has some distance to go yet, but its super awesome....

    This being said, I have been stuck in a planetary stalemate about 3x now.... It's thrilling to try and gain a foothold on another planet.... really a unique trial! this being said if you don't seemingly fight 3 simultaneous battles on the 3 planet "boss" galactic warfare missions then it's very likely going to stalemate.
    I've tried the massive transporter drop (200x+) to try and make a teleporter with plenty more units waiting.... but no success... :/

    especially when the AI has the ability to make orbital fighters and I do not :( this really ices the cake on a stalemate.

    I'll let the game makers devise their own answer to this... but I would suggest it as a primary area of focus :) (plz? :) I think perhaps a small cange could fix this problem.

    While it seems impossible and in fact is at times (believe me I had two out of three planets and two commanders 'killed' with a teleporter somehow on the third planet for a while with hundreds or more units) it was kinda fun trying to out 'think' the AI when the deck is stacked so much against you - for a while unit you realise you can't win. I still want it to be possible to win. Just highlighting some work that needs done on Galactic War. Not a complaint, or even constructive criticism - just pointing out work or an area that needs a lot of work yet. Consider us the crowd sourced Beta Testers. :)
