    Alright, so:
Had another test, went fairly well I think. Here's some screenshots showing the highly effective use of shellers at the base of a cliff.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to release the lava + cliffs + trees planet type first, as a stand-alone replacement for the 'sandbox' planet type. I think it's good enough to release as-is, so I'll try to get that done tomorrow.

But first, I'd like to know (since I haven't released any mods yet); since PA mod manager doesn't seem to support server mods, and since this mod has both a server and client part, what's the best way to release it? If I just post the files I have as-is, I'm pretty sure ui_mod_list will either overwrite/be overwritten by the ui_mod_list.js files from other mods, no?

The atom shell version of PAMM does support mods: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/wip-pa-mod-manager-crossplatform-version-with-atom-shell.59992/

To put it on there, make a github repository for your mod, then there's a servermods.json to edit on the pamm github to get it on pamm. PM or irc if you need help.

Well now that server mods are in stable I suspect Cola_Colin will be working to update PAMM. At least I hope so.

Submitted a pull request to get an initial version on the atom shell version of pa mods. Might have done it wrong though, I kinda rushed through the process.

Is there any possibility of giving us a zip file here too? I'd rather load my mods myself. :p

Yeah, currently the PAMM one is a bit broken (I typed in the wrong context on one, had a typo on the other, hopefully things get sorted out soon though ).

The .zip files in the OP should be functional, however, except that they're missing a mods_list.json file.

Alright! PAMM version is now working!

Make sure to download both the client and server side mods in order to edit and play on cliff planets :D

Do you need separate client and server mods? I would have thought putting it all in the server mod would work.

I need the client mod for the system editor unfortunately.

So far 9 people have downloaded the client side (system editor) part of the mod, and only 1 person has downloaded the server mod.
And I'm pretty sure that 1 download was me, testing it.
Hopefully atom shell PAMM gets its official release soon, or that regular PAMM starts including server mods. I've got a feeling very few people are running atom shell PAMM, could be wrong though.

Just one question: how resource hungry are the planets?

I get around the same tri count as with tropical planets, often less, although it strongly depends on how many trees there are.
Loading the planets will probably be a bit slower, however.

That's the problem. If systems are too big, I will often spawn before I load them. I don't know why that happens with the preloading but is seems like the planets only preload partially and then load up the other part on the spot and with my awesome computer It can easily happen that I spawn before I'm done loading if I'm not careful about the planet size/type.

Just started exporting the video of the match we played with the cliffs mod.

It looks AWESOME!!! I cannot wait to show off some of the screen grabs.
