I guess, but most of the girls I know do play games (and I'm referring to 'proper games' as well not just mobile aps...). I do note though that my finance (who likes plenty of RTS games) always avoids the on-line multi player component of the games she plays (unfortunately she's had to deal with too many total idiots so it puts her off). She's also prefers games with a very deep story (she loved Warcraft 3 for example) so she's not that interested in PA.

The bile and venom that often gets levelled at women on the web as a whole is rather disturbing (a woman complaining about the absurd proportions of female game characters got death threats ffs).

Edit: Not that I'm accusing anyone here of behaving like that, the PA community is pretty awesome

Turns out I'm awful at PA. Like, really awful. Can barely make a dent against the lowest skill AI. My rig is also not exactly high-end by any stretch...

as for the rig, PA doesn't require much, it can run on intelHD 2000 (that isn't to say I recommend it by any strech) try turning down graphics a bit and playing on small systems.. in anycase the lag you're getting is most likely server lag, not your machine.

I literally just installed today and I've been having some depressing family issues, so I wasn't expecting to be great right away. Turning down the settings earlier helped tho
