    To be honest I understand the 'light hearted' nature of this thread (or the intention) but vanguards ganging up to make fun of the thread frequency of a popular discussed topic (by making a new thread about) isn't very useful or what i expect from people who are supposed to make the forums better...

    that said, BUBBLES!

    PS: It does sort of feel like Vanguards are more of a 'guild gang' than community members trying to improve discourse but I might have misunderstood the point of being a vanguard entirely.

    Not at all doing anything like ganging up / guilt etc, just a play on words.
    This is one of the smaller issues of having a vanguard tag, it is assumed that everything you post is to do with the vanguard.

    It could be worse....

    All the Vanguards could have clubbed together to form a clan, and that coupled with their close ties to the Uber devs created the perfect monopolistic online gaming society controlling everything and everyone PA related.

    Thank goodness they didn't do that ;)

    I understand that must be frustrating to be always associated but you must understand that from (at least the shields discussion perceptive) there was an ubiquitous vocal anti shield sentiment by vanguards and I am sure that scared away some people from the discussion

    :) yeah as far as gaming communities go this one is quite nice and there are very few 'abuses of power' cases on the forums to control discussion. I just felt we were getting close to that impression in the shield threads even if it wasn't meant to be that way. not meaning to raise anyone heckles just making vanguards think about how they are perceived sometimes.

    I have watched many discussions but have not participated.
    Though as a vanguard I will say this based on a recent conversation with Uber - They do not intend to add shields into the game though there is no telling what may be possible with modding.
