I recently reformatted my computer because I updated from 4 to 8 gb ram, and windows 7 32 bit couldn't handle that much. Now I have window 7 64 bit. But after the reformat the computer won't start PA's Launcher. It shows up in the taskbar, but the window won't show up.
another person had this problem just today. They opted to use steam. I am not firsthand sure what the problem is.
There two possible problems that might cause this: First try to update WIndows with all recent updates and check if this fix it. Also you have non-English windows installation. Any chance that before your Windows used English as main language? E.g launcher have some problem with non-English Windows. And yeah you can as well try to use this non user friendly launcher as alternative: https://forums.uberent.com/threads/alternative-go-launcher-build-for-windows.59287/ Might be tricky to use, but should work.
its restrictive and sometimes you don't want the features. Basically, if you don't use it, why get shang hi onto it now? I wasn't sure if he did when suggested. Also wonder why launcher gives issues suddenly... I have steam and don't use it.
