Every single time a play Galactic War when I go back to a system that is already mine the game makes me unable to move, and so I have to restart it all (it is really frustrating) Is it a bug or is that supposed to happen to make me just keep going forward? Either way, if anyone ever had that on the game and fixed it I would really like to know
https://forums.uberent.com/threads/galactic-war-planet-selection-screen-problem.60211/ basically, the ui gets gammed at a screen with no button, and the game is in a state expecting a button click from a green button below the system. This state is saves me too, reload don't fix. I hope you didn't delete though. It is fixable, follow that link to another link, lol. It describes the command line you enter in the games "~" console, to manually trigger "button press" and unjam the game.
Thanks for the console command man, I really appreciate it! When I closed the game and reopened it somehow it worked and I was able to play normally again... If it happens I'll surely use that command there. Thanks a lot!
Only possible if the game didn't save the stuck turn. If the game saves the stuck turn, that jam is saved with it. I have never had the game fail to save any turn I made. Mine autosaves every single star move, whether I scanned for technology or started a fight or not. If I move, then ALT-f4, it saves. Just remember, the bug isn't caused by moving backwards onto your own stars, it is caused by clicking a whole lot while moving between two points. To keep from jamming up, don't click anything once you click a move, until your commander lands and all the rest of the screens automatically appear on their own.
