Hello, I've just purchased the game today but upon startup the game crashes showing the "pa.exe stopped working" error. I tried these: Updating both Intel and Nvidia cards. Executing as admin. Moving the files to the C drive. Executed all 3 PA executables within the main folder. Verifying integrity of the game cache Downloading the DirectX files from the given links by the dev at the game's discussion section. but to no avail. I've uploaded the DxDiag file, the log file that is generated at the appdata folder and a screenshot (upon crashing, a small white box appears on the corner which is weird) Any help would be greatly appreciated :l
First of all. Did you grabbed DxDiag before or after you updated drivers? At moment your Intel drivers are outdated: Code: Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics Family Driver Date/Size: 11/29/2010 08:23:14, 7428608 bytes To update drivers download and install "win64_152822.exe" from Intel website: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23764 If you get "not validated for this computer" error then download ZIP version of driver ("win64_152822.zip") from same page and then install it using this instruction: http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/2/558749190911446231/ Also your crash log make me thing you didn't configured drivers to run game o Nvidia graphics card. By default game is running on slow integrated graphics so I recommend you configure your drivers to run it on Nvidia GPU.
