PALauncher.exe gives me a horrible crash. "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)." I'd link to a screenshot here but apparently I'm not allowed to because I'm a new poster. I played the game fine a couple weeks ago (Bought the game 4/24/14, that build worked fine). Now I can't even reinstall the game. It started when I decided to download the Galactic War update. Told me I was missing a dll file (MSVCP110.dll to be precise). I tracked it down and installed it, and now I get this crash. I just want to play single player darn it. I've attached my DxDiag for anyone tech savvy enough to know what's wrong.
0xc000007b error mean that some DLL file is incorrect/corrupted. How did you "installed" it? If you copied some file I recommend you to remove current launcher and this copied file, then install Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (both x86 and x64): http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 After you done it launcher should work.
I tracked down the file, scanned it with Avast and Malwarebytes, and placed the dll in System32 and SysWOW64 folders. Files you linked worked great, PA is updating now. Thanks a ton!
Please never do that again. It's only good way to break your OS, but not fix something. Every DLL in your system have own purpose and proper installer that have to be used. So I want to believe you'll remember that.
