    Hi,
I can't finish half my games because the screen freezes and the game stops working. It seems to happen at random and not all the times.

Win 8.1, just updated directX and video drivers. Steam version (but I had the same problem with standalone)

Just want to ask. Are you sure that game running on AMD graphics card?

If you didn't configured that yet then by default game is running on slow integrated graphics so I recommend you configure your drivers to run it on AMD GPU. For details check "Laptops and hybrid graphics" section in this topic: http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/2/864980278116578701/

Also even if it's not used in game I recommend to update Intel drivers too:
    Code:
Card name: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4000
    Driver Date/Size: 8/19/2013 18:20:32, 12090368 bytes
To update drivers download and install "win64_153318.exe" from Intel website: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23714

Yes, the game is running on AMD. However, Catalyst control center says PA (32 bit) even if I select the file in bin_x64, I don't know if it's important...
Intel drivers updated, just in case.

Are you sure it's the correct link? it sends me to a "thinking about getting this game but am wondering how glichy it would be on offline play" tread

EDIT - I think I found the how-to you mentioned anyways... I uploaded all the content of the ...\AppData\Local\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\log

Yup link was incorrect, sorry about that. As I see you using Steam, can you please try those workarounds if you didn't tried them yet?

1 - Try to run game without "Steam Community Overlay":
Right click the game in your Library -> Select Properties -> On the General tab, uncheck the box next to Enable Steam Community In-Game

2 - Try to run it using standalone launcher:

I already tried 2, but same problem.
I will try 1, but since the standalone game crashed too I don't think it will fix

EDIT - Played 3 games with no crash
